Universal Seniors Social Services Uganda works to ensure seniors in Uganda live secure, dignified, and meaningful lives.

Serving communities across the Elgon region of Eastern Uganda, USSSU helps bridge service gaps through voluntary service, local partnership, compassionate care, and practical support for older adults ages 65 and above.

Nutrition & Care Access to nutritious food, basic medical care, and support for seniors living with HIV/AIDS.
Dignity & Belonging Psychosocial support, community engagement, and services that protect independence and purpose.
Inclusive Service Support for seniors of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities and diverse communities.
Service Area Communities in the Elgon region of Eastern Uganda.
Founded Co-founded by Betty Wakou and Mary Khanakwa in September 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vision To ensure that seniors in Uganda live secure, dignified, and meaningful lives.
